Things to do

Dewey-Humboldt Days (formerly Agua Fria Days) has become a Labor Day tradition. Please check the town's website for additional details on events and activities.

Each October, Mortimer Farms hosts a Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze in Dewey, Arizona  In addition to the 15-acre corn maze, the event features the farm’s 10-acre Pumpkin Patch where families can wander and search for the perfect pumpkins to take home. Additional activities for families include “A-MAZE-ing” attractions, games, farm activities, live entertainment, “boot scootin” barn dances every Saturday evening during October. Younger guests can enjoy the straw maze, plus the farm animal petting zoo, the Buckaroo Pony Corner, inflatable slides, a corn box, roping dummies, an obstacle course, Mutton’ Bustin, calf riding, a bounce house, and a barrel train ride.  Families have the opportunity to meet Farmer Buzz on a hay-ride tour of the farm, who will share stories about agriculture and the history of Dewey-Humboldt. There is live music & entertainment, craft vendors, and farm fresh food. The Mile High Tractor Club members display their antique tractors, and a tractor pull is part of their show. In addition, there is a Blacksmith at the festival who creates amazing works of art out of iron!
