Richard Heath, Executive Director

Richard began working for the Bay-Lake Regional Planning Commission in 2004 and has served as its Executive Director since 2010. Mr. Heath served in the U.S. Army and Wisconsin National Guard after graduating high school. Rich received his B.S. in Social Change and Development from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and a M.A. in Development Studies from Ohio University. He has nearly 26 years of experience in community and economic development, organizational management, contracting, grant writing, and planning. Rich has shared his knowledge of the public and nonprofit sectors by working as an adjunct professor at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay teaching budgeting and management courses. Prior to his employment with the Commission, Mr. Heath was the Assistant Director/Director of Planning and Programs for the Area Agency on Aging 3 in Lima, Ohio, and the Executive Director of the Clark County Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. Mr. Heath enjoys all sports, as well as the great outdoors, especially fishing and ATVing.
